GEMCO Manufacturing to attend 2021 D2P show at Mohegan Sun

GEMCO Manufacturing will be attending and hosting a booth (#255) at the 2021 Design-2-Part trade show (D2P) at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut on June 23 and 24. With the state of Connecticut being at full capacity after the COVID-19 pandemic shut-downs, GEMCO Manufacturing President Mark DiVenere is looking forward to the company’s first in-person trade show since 2019.
“With COVID finally moving more and more into the rear view mirror, we at GEMCO are excited about having the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with our long term business partners while looking forward to introducing ourselves to future partners. This is long overdue and the anticipation level is heightened as some sense of normalcy returns to all of our personal and business lives,” said DiVenere.
While the COVID-19 pandemic presented significant challenges in the manufacturing industry, GEMCO was able to provide precision stamping for ventilators at a time when the country needed help. Last year also led to the company bringing on new outside sales representative Horst Bratke of JCD Marketing as GEMCO looks to expand its business into the firearms industry among others.
As for the first half of 2021, GEMCO continues to build relationships across the industry and prepares for manufacturing’s long awaited recovery in a post-COVID world. GEMCO has recently invested in state-of-the-art instant measuring systems, specifically the Keyence IM-7030, which allows for rapid first article, in-process and final inspection with precision and accuracy.
